If you goggle the word church, you will find a list of
denominational churches around your neighborhood. When people speak of the
church, usually, they mean the building where Christians gather on Sundays.
Jesus Christ was the first to call the body of believers the
church in Matthew 16:18, “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I
will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
There is no question about it, Jesus Christ is the head of
the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from among the
dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. God placed all things under his feet and appointed Christ to
be head over everything for the church, for the husband is the head of the wife
as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
Those who belong to Jesus Christ are no longer foreigners
and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's
household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ
Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In Christ Jesus the whole building is
joined together and rises to become a holy temple in which God lives by his
Spirit.
Therefore, if Jesus Christ is Lord, we who claim to be
Christian are under His authority to preach the gospel and teach others about
the precepts of the kingdom of God by following in Jesus footsteps, as stated
by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20, “All authority in
heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of
all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and TEACHING THEM TO OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED
YOU. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Jesus Christ gave the church the power to overcome evil by
practicing gospel Dominionism, which is the divine mandate to assume positions of power and influence over all aspects of society and government, but the church instead hides in temples of doom with pimps in the pulpits
hoping to become rich and prosperous, while the entire nation is engulfed
in the winds of hell.
For the past 75 years the church appears to follow Satan
instead of following Jesus in total disregard to the teachings of Jesus Christ
found in Luke 10:19, “I have given you authority to
trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy;
nothing will harm you.” However, instead of obeying Jesus the
church stood by and did nothing to prevent the wicked of the land to remove
Jesus from the public square, and from the schoolhouse, and the church did
nothing to prevent the wicked of the land to legalize abortion on demand, same
sex marriage, and child prostitution. On September of 2016, California Senate
Bill 1322 was signed into law by Gov. Jerry Brown and went into effect on
Sunday January 1, 2017. “Barring law enforcement from arresting sex workers who
are under the age of 18 for soliciting or engaging in prostitution, or
loitering with the intent to do so.”
Jesus says that it will be more bearable for Sodom and
Gomorrah in the Day of Judgment than for those hypocrites who call themselves
Christian, but chase after mammon, and trample on the free ticket out of hell,
free of charge, offered by Jesus Christ to a sinful and perverse generation.
However, everyone looks out for his own interests, not for the interests
of Jesus Christ and His church.
I believe the problem is that most Christians see
Christianity as another political party, which is the reason for the existence
of so many denominations. Every denomination claims to be the true church of
Jesus Christ. However, Jesus Christ did not come way of the cross in order to
institute a religious organization or restore the physical nation of Israel. Jesus
Christ came way of the cross in order to restore the personal relationship lost
in the Garden of Eden that God enjoyed with man, the crowning glory of His
creation.
After the resurrection of Christ, God came down from heaven
to occupy his new Temple, located in the hearts of those who love Him by
keeping His Commands, as stated by Jesus Christ in John 14:23, “If anyone
loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come
to him and make our home with him” and as stated by Jesus Christ in John
4:19-24, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming
when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in
Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we
do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now
come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for
they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his
worshipers must worship in SPIRIT and in TRUTH."
Another problem that most Christians have is the fact that
they don’t believe that Jesus Christ is coming back as He promised in Matthew
16:27-28, “For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his
angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before
they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
Most Christians fall into the trap of thinking that Christ
failed to fulfill His promise, because those standing with Him died before His
second coming.
The fact is that Jesus never fails. Jesus said that some who
were standing with him will not taste death before they see the Son of Man
coming in his kingdom, it is absolutely correct. At His second coming the dead
will stand before the throne of Christ and He will judge them according to what
they have done as recorded in the books, and another book will be opened,
which is the book of life. The sea will give up the dead in it, and death and
Hades will give up the dead in them, and each person will be judged
according to what they have done as recorded in the books.
Then death and Hades will be thrown into the lake
of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name is not
found written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire.
The church has failed to gain complete understanding of the
mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom
and knowledge.
The church has been taken captive through hollow and
deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles
of this world rather than on Christ. The church does not understand that in
Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and that Christ is
the head over every power and authority.
The church has lost its sight of Jesus Christ, and like a
foolish builder the church builds its faith on dishonest politicians.
The church has homogenized with the culture around it, made up mostly of homosexuals, fornicators, degenerates, warmongers, murderers, child molesters, drug addicts, liars, thieves, and dishonest politicians, thus the church has become a den of politically correct cowards who cannot handle or teach others the truths found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The church deserves Donald Trump who is the evidence of
God’s judgment on America. The church does not know that God grants peace and
secure borders to those who love him by keeping his commandments, as stated
in Psalm 147:13-14, "For he strengthens the bars of your gates and
blesses your people within you. He grants peace to your borders and satisfies
you with the finest of wheat."
The church has allowed the wicked for the past 55 years to
preach pure godlessness in public education, consequently, the church is
reaping its bitter fruits in the shape of sex offenders, pedophiles, dishonest
politicians, mass murderers, and terrorists in our midst, which are like
ticking bombs waiting to explode. Therefore, the church cannot see
the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
The church must return
to the fundamental teachings found in the gospel of Jesus
Christ, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the
Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the twelve disciples,
after that, he appeared to more than five hundred believers at the
same time.
The head of the church is not your Preacher, your Bishop,
your Reverend, your Priest, or your favorite politician, no; the head of the
church is Jesus Christ who leads the believers by the indwelling of the Holy
Spirit.
If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does
not belong to Christ, but if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of
sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is
living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your
mortal body through his Spirit, who lives in you. For if you live according to
the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the
misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of
God are the sons of God.
There is a great number of people in the church that believe
the suffering, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is a fairy-tale,
but they will change their mind once they find themselves in hell, however, it
will be too late for them since hell is final, as told by Jesus in Luke
16:19-31, “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen
and lived in luxury every day.
At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with
sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs
came and licked his sores.
"The time came when the beggar died and the angels
carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.
In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw
Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, 'Father
Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water
and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime
you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is
comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a
great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you
cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.' He answered, 'Then I beg
you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, for I have five brothers. Let
him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'
Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'
'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they
will repent.' He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets,
they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'”
Do not forget this one thing, with the Lord a day is like a
thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day, since God has no beginning
and has no end. In other words, God is everlasting, never-ending, endless,
perpetual, undying, immortal, abiding, permanent, enduring, infinite,
boundless, and timeless. Therefore, the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,
as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to
perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come
like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be
destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. That
day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements
will melt in the heat.
Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know on what day
your Lord will come.
Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is
vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let
him who is holy continue to be holy.
Behold, I am coming soon! My reward
is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the
First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Blessed are those who wash their
robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the
gates into the city.
Outside are the dogs, those who
practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and
everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel
to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of
David, and the bright Morning Star.
The Spirit and the bride say,
"Come! And let him who hears say, Come! Whoever is thirsty,
let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of
life.
He who testifies to these things
says, Yes, I am coming soon. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people.
